You can expect to receive four issues of the Parent & Caregiver Newsletter a year (winter, spring, summer, fall). Each issue will have practical literacy tips, program information, and event invitations intended to leave you feeling confident and ready to make reading a fun family activity.

Come Read with Me is an interactive workshop for parents and caregivers. You will learn positive reading strategies to support your children at home. There is no cost to participate and you will receive a digital resource package including a handbook called “Reading Success at Home”. This program has been made available to families in British Columbia through the generous support of our donors. Come Read with Me was developed by our partners, Literacy in Kamloops.

While we welcome families with children of all ages, the workshop will include content that is best suited to parents and caregivers of students in the primary grades.
