PARENT & CAREGIVER

RESOURCES

Investing in Families

Parents and caregivers play a vital role in helping children become confident readers. Through workshops, practical resources, and opportunities to stay connected, ONE TO ONE supports families with evidence-based strategies that make reading at home a positive experience.

Parent Reading Workshops

ONE TO ONE hosts interactive workshops for parents and caregivers, offering positive reading strategies to support their children at home. There is no cost to participate and participating families will receive a digital resource package. These workshops have been made available to families in British Columbia through the generous support of our donors.

While we welcome families with children of all ages, the workshop will include content that is best suited to parents and caregivers of students in Grades 1 and 2.

Stay tuned for our next virtual workshop!

“I’m much more relaxed and patient now while reading with my child. I don’t feel like I have to jump in to say words for them because they can figure it out!”
