Goal: To make words by combining a rolled letter with a phonogram
Box Cars and One-Eyed Jacks: Vowel Crosswords
Level: Grade 3+
Skills: Spelling simple, three-letter words
Goal: To complete the most crosswords on the Vowel Crossword game board before the “garbage” is full
Box Cars and One-Eyed Jacks: Sight Word Stackers
Level: Grade 1+
Skills: Spelling simple, three-letter words
Goal: To have the “last word”, by being the last player who is able to complete a word using the letter tiles and the yellow consonant cards
Box Cars and One-Eyed Jacks: Match Five
Level: K-4
Skills: Short Vowels
Goal: Be the player with the most red vowel cards once the deck has been depleted.
Box Cars and One-Eyed Jacks: Beginners and Enders
Level: 1+
Skills: Creating 3-letter words, beginning sounds, ending sounds
Goal: To complete three words in a row: horizontally, vertically or diagonally (like BINGO)
