ONE TO ONE is very pleased to be expanding the Provincial Program to Haida Gwaii, in partnership with Literacy Haida Gwaii and School District 50. The program launched with a visit and training over October 14-15th in Queen Charlotte and Skidegate by Zahida Jaffer, Provincial Program Coordinator. We are thrilled to be working with staff and students of Sk’ aadgaa Naay Elementary School in Skidegate and with community members who will be reading with students as ONE TO ONE volunteer tutors at the school. Special thanks to Beng Favreau of Literacy Haida Gwaii for being the impetus for the program launch in Haida Gwaii.
