What if talking about racism was as easy as baking a cake, cooking rice, or frying plantains? Find out on April 28th as we, along with our friends at Growing Chefs, host author/editor Nadia L. Hohn on April 28 for a fun, engaging, and tasty virtual presentation.

Join us to celebrate Canadian Children’s Book Week! This free virtual event is for foodies and bibliophiles, teachers, caregivers, volunteers, and kids in Grade 3 and up!

This event will introduce you to authors and their stories featured in the book, The Antiracist Kitchen. As you gain insight into their experiences, you will learn new vocabulary and tools to fight racism. Together, we will create a safe environment for courageous conversations, mutual understanding, and delicious treats.
