One of the things we love most about welcoming new schools to the ONE TO ONE program is delivering to them a brand new box of books, carefully selected to both capture students’ interest, and to support their literacy development. These resources come at no cost to our participating schools, and are 100% funded by ONE TO ONE donors. And though it’s always a treat for us to share these books, putting the boxes together can be an awful lot of work, particularly for a small team like ours, during our busiest time of year.

That’s why we are so grateful to our friends at Kodak Canada, who generously volunteered to take on the job for us this year! A team of 18 Kodak employees got together earlier this month to sort, bag, label, and lovingly assemble 23 book boxes, each containing 125 books. What normally takes our small team weeks to complete was wrapped up in an afternoon, and our friends kindly delivered the finished product to our office, ready to be distributed to our participating schools.

Thank you Kodak Canada, for making our September so much easier and for helping us get these treasured books in the hands of our students so much faster! We so appreciate the gift of your time and support.
