We’re sad to share that our much-loved Volunteer Coordinator, Vera Maesen, will be leaving her role at ONE TO ONE to pursue a new opportunity. Vera has welcomed and supported our ever-growing corps of volunteers with her characteristic warmth, patience and good humour, making her a great ambassador for our program and a valued member of our team. She will be greatly missed.
We are currently looking for a new Volunteer Coordinator to fill Vera’s shoes. If you or someone you know is interested in joining our small but mighty team of passionate literacy advocates and community builders, we want to hear from you!
Recruitment and scheduling are critical parts of the job, and we are seeking a well-organized systems thinker who is comfortable with databases. With a keen understanding of what motivates volunteers to dedicate their time to a worthy cause, our new Volunteer Coordinator will develop a program that recognizes volunteers’ commitment and ensures they feel part of the ONE TO ONE community.
