Christine Gardner was a talented artist, story-teller, community-oriented supporter of the arts and a great teacher of children.
A life-long advocate for children’s literacy, she worked first with young children in a variety of special education programs in West Vancouver elementary schools. More recently, she was a proud volunteer tutor with One to One Literacy helping many elementary school children in North Shore schools develop literacy skills and reading confidence.
