Apply for a criminal record check

To complete the criminal records check process, you will need our access code: AJK5NUBK4H

1. You can apply online here through the Ministry of Justice

2. If you would like detailed instructions and video tutorials on how to complete your criminal records check, please click here.

A vulnerable sector criminal record check can take a couple of months to process, and this step must be completed before you can volunteer with ONE TO ONE. It is a good idea to get started as soon as possible.

NOTE: Please do not go to your local police or RCMP detachment to complete your criminal records check. Please follow the instructions above.

By continuing with the application process, you are acknowledging that your child is reading behind their peers or behind their grade level.

Phone orientation

Once you have submitted your online application, we will schedule a 15-minute phone orientation. This is an opportunity for us to get to know you, and for you to learn more about our program.

Attending a training session

Once you have completed your phone orientation, you will receive an email inviting you to an upcoming tutor training session. Please note: We do not hold training sessions during the summer months.
